It's rich to hear @SenatorMenendez screech about "truth" to @SecPompeo when Menendez was handing out green cards in exchange for sexual favors from his "very young" hookers, the media blacked out that trial brilliantly.
January 24th @TheJusticeDept announces it will re-try the case because jury couldn't reach a verdict, seven days later they drop it? Sure would be nice if the @FBI had any time to investigate something other than rushaaaa because this stinks.
Although on second thought, flipping his seat red would be even more delicious let's hope #NewJersey has had enough of this grossly corrupt pervert Menedez.

#ProTip 🧠 If you know exactly what you’re looking for, out it in quotes. Some of the info is repetitive but if you’re crafty enough you’ll find gems. Once you’ve done a search use search bar at top of page to look for other info.
Long story that I was going to attempt to thread one day but since we’re here I’ll just explain it. A few years ago McCabe and FISA court sued search engines to NOT populate this data, it was under the guise of National Security of course but pretty sure it had darker intentions.

One thing I find interesting is Dia de Murtos (Day of the Dead). It was a holiday few ppl cared about, there were no parades, face painting, etc. Until international started being paid to it and now there's parade in Mexico City, etc. It's one of the clearest phenomenons of--
'fabricating' culture that I've ever seen. So basically it was the foreign gaze which has shaped this holiday for people's consumption. The same thing happened with casinos and hotels in Mexico in the 1920s around the border zone.
You have ads inviting people to experience 'authentic Mexico' in the 1920s and it's like flamenco dancers and the 'idea' of Mexico in the foreign mind. The casino at Agua Caliente was this blend of architecture styles and it visually represents that in a stunning way.
