Amelia Earhart was declared dead #OnThisDay in 1939.

She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

Earhart was the daughter of Samuel "Edwin" Stanton Earhart and Amelia "Amy". She was born in Atchison, Kansas, in the home of her maternal grandfather, Alfred Gideon Otis, who was a former federal judge, the president of the Atchison Savings Bank.
According to family custom, Earhart was named after her two grandmothers, Amelia Josephine Harres and Mary Wells Patton. From an early age, Amelia was the ringleader while her sister Grace Muriel Earhart (1899–1998), two years her junior, acted as the dutiful follower.

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

Please, everyone, the is soooo much confusion over #WhereAreTheChildren - several different stories were published in a short time, and it's hard to figure out exactly what's happening - who is responsible and what agencies/officials we need to target.
First - understand that our government is abusing children and their families. There are different ways this is happening, but most recent and egregious is the new trump policy (not law) is that all ASYLUM SEEKERS will be separated from their children, no exceptions.
Note that those who enter the US seeking asylum are FOLLOWING the law, not breaking it. See @allanbrauer's thread:

1) My small coastal town has 3 seats up for city council next month. #vote
2) Of those running for city council, 5 believe in climate change, 4 don't. All but 2 candidates GOP. 3/5 climate believers here GOP. #vote
3) Last city council election, only 20% registered Dems voted, because they saw majority of candidates were GOP and they dismissed them.
