@jmpalmieri Nothing enrages me more these days than people who suggest she is anything but this person. I mean it really galls me. Share time: I have a weird history with the Clintons. I volunteered full-time for Bill in Chicago in 1992. It changed my life in every way imaginable. 1/

@jmpalmieri I was long haired nerd who had left home and school at an early age. I was 21 then but had been on my own for five years. That was an amazing campaign. I got behind Bill early so I became a core member of the Chicago office early on. 2/

@jmpalmieri Eric Adelstein, Laura Hartigan, Mary Elenn Gwynn, and Julie Oppenheimer all became mentors and welcomed me in without hesitation. I got to meet both the Clintons a handful of times over the course of that campaign. Was Hillary's press lead twice. Got to drive in a motorcade. 3/

@jmpalmieri I fell in love with Hillary Clinton immediately. At the end of my first press lead gig she remembered my name. She had only heard it once more than two hours before. Hell, Bill Daley and David Wilhelm had each met me five times and still acted like each time was the first. 4/

@jmpalmieri I have never been as impressed with another person I've met than I was those first times I met her. Still true. And I've met Oprah. I watched her closely. And have since talked many who know her or have met her and I've never heard a single negative comment from any of them. 5/
