Fox and Friends host Ainsley Earhardt's first questions to Trump in this interview:
- "Mr. President, thank you so much for sitting down with me. How are you doing?"
- "How is our country's first lady doin' and how are your children?"
- "How do you handle all of that?"
Trump on Cohen: "I don't know if he was a 'fixer.' I don't know where that term came from."

Cohen to the Wall Street Journal last year: “I am the fix-it guy."
"Almost everybody that runs for office has campaign violations. But what Michael Cohen pled to weren't even campaign-related. They weren't crimes," Trump lies.
"This whole thing about flipping...I know all about flipping. For 30, 40 years I've been watching flipping...it almost ought to be outlawed. It's not fair."
Trump says that a lot of lawyers he's seen on TV think that Cohen's crimes weren't even crimes. He adds that lawyers he personally knows also think this.
Trump is lying again about former congressional IT staffer Imran Awan. This is one of his ugliest lies, just making things up about a low-level guy.
Asked if he'll pardon Manafort, Trump says, "I have great respect for what he's done in terms of what he's going through."
Trump on the Cohen case: "I wasn't charged with anything...I wasn't charged." (Trump is unlikely to be charged as president no matter what anyone finds he has done.)
Trump: "Even my enemies say that Jeff Sessions should have told me that Jeff Sessions was going to recuse himself..."

Trump says that when Sessions told him he was going to recuse, Trump said, "What kind of a man is this?"
Trump on how he chose his attorney general: "He was on the campaign. The only reason I gave him the job - because I felt loyalty. He was an original supporter."
"We're building the wall, it's already started," Trump lies. "The wall is going up, a lot of people don't know it."
Trump on the Constitution: "I guess it says something like 'high crimes' and all...I don't know how you can impeach somebody who's done a great job." He says the stock market would "crash" if he were impeached.
"Last year China made $517 - we had a deficit with China of $517 billion," Trump says of the $337 billion trade deficit with China last year.
Trump touts the praise of New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind, saying, "Very Democrat assemblyman from New York...heavy Democrat...never heard of a Republican."

Hikind endorsed George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney for president.
