I received a call this morning from the @IsraeliPM Benjamin @Netanyahu.

I appreciate the Prime Minister for calling today to express his condolences on the passing of @SenJohnMcCain.
@IsraeliPM @netanyahu @SenJohnMcCain The Prime Minister – and all of Israel – understood John McCain’s devotion to the US-Israel relationship and John’s commitment to a real Peace.
@IsraeliPM @netanyahu @SenJohnMcCain I enjoyed working with Senator McCain to strengthen the US-Israel relationship.

This work will never stop and my commitment to Peace through Strength remains steadfast.

I learned a lot from President @realDonaldTrump about our efforts in Syria that was reassuring. (1/3)
@realDonaldTrump The President will make sure any withdrawal from Syria will be done in a fashion to ensure:

1) ISIS is permanently destroyed.

2) Iran doesn’t fill in the back end, and

3) our Kurdish allies are protected.

I’m very glad to see the President and First Lady visit our troops in Iraq.

It’s always good for morale to have a visit from the Commander in Chief.

We must remember these troops are in Iraq to retake ground from ISIS after Obama’s ill-conceived withdrawal.

The worst thing for morale would be to give back to the enemy territory that was previously taken through blood and sacrifice.
I hope President Trump will not do in Syria what Obama did in Iraq -- which led to the rise of ISIS.

We also must not abandon our Kurdish allies who have fought so hard by our side in Syria.

Our nation is better than this.

Please reevaluate the Syrian withdrawal strategy.
We will hold Turkey accountable for any actions to destroy America’s Kurdish allies who have fought so bravely against ISIS.

If this happens we will, in my view, put Erdogan in the same category as MBS of Saudi Arabia.

All the different ways the Tories keep asking, begging and howling for a new treaty, and still the media can't recognise that they should not be behaving this way.
Two years ago. That's how easy it was to work out. I told you two years ago the Tories would never sign a withdrawal agreement because the whole thing was a con job to try and get a treaty renegotiation.

#Damascus said its jet was not flying over any Israeli territory neither breaking the 1974 disengagement line as Israel falsely claimed.

The Israeli act of war has no strategic purposes but trying to provoke the Syrian government to a wider response. There is no point for Israel to support the last #ISIS enclave because the Syrian army is determine to end it in less than 2 months.
