The last Republican mayor of Chicago was William Thompson from 1927 to 1931. Republicans in the US Congress have nothing to do with the failures of Democrats that have controlled Chicago since 1932. Trying to shift blame isn't solving the problem.

These individuals are the source of the problems that Chicago has had for decades. They are the reason so many are impoverished in that city. Their policies of division have led to violence and other problems. Can't blame Republicans when Democrats have ran the city for 87 years!

In February 2018, the Assad government gave some measure of aid to Syrian Kurds against Turkey in the northwest region of the country in Afrin. The government allowed the Kurds to move men, weapons, and equipment through government controlled areas to reinforce.
Turkey, our NATO ally whom we obviously have a partnership and alliance sees the Kurds in Afrin as a threat to its border. reuters.com/article/us-mid…

Secretary of Defense Mattis leaving is not the end of the world as the media makes it out to be. While I have respect for Mattis he's not the only person qualified for the job.
Every administration has its stars, and those stars often leave after about 2-3 years and often that's shortly after a midterm election or a presidential election. I think some of the friction that resulted in Mattis leaving was probably applied through John Bolton.
Mattis is an old guard type and believes in long term troop presence even after objectives have been met.

Comey said in July 2016, "To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions."
Comey also stated, "all other cases that were prosecuted involved intentional/willful mishandling of information. How does Comey think that classified information ended up on a private server? That IS willful intent because it has to be physically removed from systems.
