Carry this family abuse from Egypt up until today. Who survives at the top of the pyramid? The cruel, or the kind? Does Astor cruelty need any help from evil? If you drowned your own child would you have trouble killing a stranger to take over the fur trade in a new America?

Does the smell of blood subdue a shark or make him aggressive? Did Vlad the Impaler feel satiated with blood-soaked bread, or did it grow his hunger? A son will always want to surpass a father. Without empathy, what else is there for the ego to strive for? Alters are machines.
