Senate Democrats keep calling for an FBI investigation, but they fail to mention that the FBI’s role is not to reach conclusions in these cases. 1/6

Dr. Ford’s allegations WERE submitted to the FBI on Sept. 13 by RM Feinstein MORE THAN SIX WEEKS after she received them. The FBI then added them to Judge Kavanaugh’s file for the @SenJudiciary to review. The FBI then closed the case. 2/6

The Justice Department has explained that the FBI’s role in background investigations is to evaluate any national security risks and present information for decision makers, not to judge the credibility of accusations. 3/6

After speaking with the alleged witnesses of the event described by Dr. Ford, @SenJudiciary found none of them could corroborate the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. Committee Democrats have refused to participate in the investigation. 5/6
