Working on a new project concerning the electoral college. Worth remembering how delusional @realDonaldTrump is about his win. He claimed it was a “landslide,” in fact, he boasted in a Feb. 2017 news conference, it was “the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan.” /1

.@RealDonaldTrump got 306 electoral votes, the biggest EV win in (drumroll) 4 years. Not since Obama way back in 2012 has a POTUS racked up so many EVs. Obama got 332. In 2008? 365. So if Trump calls his 306 a “landslide,” what does he call Obama’s bigger back-to-back margins?

In percentage terms, Trump won 57% of the electoral college, ranking 46th out of 58 elections. In terms of popular vote margin, he ranks 47th out of the last 49 elections. Yet there are those who automatically believe - and never question - his claims of a "landslide" ##
Worth pointing out why Trump ranks 46th out of 58 in terms of electoral college vote percentages, but 47th out of only 49 in terms of popular vote. The popular vote was not reported prior to the election of 1824

I have been thinking about actings for 10 years. IMHO, Whitaker legally can be acting AG. But I think Vacancies Act should be changed in following ways. Am close to posting article, Actings, on reforms (as well as legal & policy issues, along with data on recent practices). 1/

Last year, I was inches away from applying to business school.

It was widely seen as the "no-brainer" next step in the high-finance industry.

I didn't wanna go. It wasn't my vibe.

I spent months getting my resume in shape for it anyway.
My buddy, on the other hand, was working on a "new project" every week while my coworkers and I were running numbers in the cubicle.

He was seen as a drifter. Lacking in focus. Lost in the sauce.

Now, he runs his own 6-figure marketing agency and hits Equinox in the afternoon.

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.
