Human Nature 101:
- Human beings have a deep, unconscious desire to be led.
- People will rather make less ($50,000), but more than their friends ($35,000) than make more ($100,000), but less than their friends ($150,000).
- Everybody wants to feel important.
- People are irrational.
- Never blame. They won't see it.
- If you succeed, credit others. If you fail, blame yourself.
- Everybody is insecure about something. Find it. You have them.
- Generalizations are perceived as lies. Specificity is believable.
- Dress a begger in a suit and more people will give him money.
- Friends come with entitlement. Enemies come with something to prove.
- People want what they cannot have.
- Talk to the person in terms of who they want to be, not who they are and they will love you.
