Seriously, the attacker disliked Trump. Antisemitic attacks have been rising around the world. There is no Trump connection here.

And I say that as someone who faced quite a bit harassment and antisemitism from the alt-right for my opposition to Trump.

Also, Jews "over there" have to live with this threat daily. They have to get checked just to go into a mall. They face almost daily attacks. So yes, some of us might also care about what happens over there and cheer when our gov't rightly stands with them.
One more thing: Her comments are not only baseless and shameful, but they actually promote antisemitism. The claim that Jewish voters put Israel above their own interest is despicable.
