I am trying honestly to think of a time when someone challenging me to “debate” was done in good faith. The last time was probably when I was 15 and literally in a high school debate tournament.
You know who talks about “debate”? People like this. r/hapas is a repository for misogynist arguments for “Asian purity”, among other delights. It’s great.

👇👇👇 Yep. Framing everything in terms of “debate” suggests that it’s purely a though exercise and ignores that this has actual real-world impacts for many of us, including literal LIFE AND DEATH.
You know, Nazi content is hidden from the timeline in Germany because their laws require it. It’s clearly possibly to identify and remove least some of it.
