I want to address some of the criticism I've gotten for this piece. Two women messaged me that the NY Women's March Alliance is a separate group from the national Women's March in DC.
I responded: they share a name, Women's March Alliance "About" page says they "standing in solidarity" with other march, marches are held same day, NY march benefits from publicity of other march. If they were meant to be 2 separate, unconnected events, they are failing at that.
Another criticism is "why did you write this in November?" The implication is that I'm (the Post/Rupert Murdoch) trying to affect midterms. HA! I address why now in the piece. I didn't want to write it in mid-Jan when it was too late for people to find a different way to protest.
I have a lot of friends who have marched the last two years. They're good people. I'm trying to get people like them to think ahead and not wake up on 1/19/19 and go to a march organized by anti-Semites because it's the only thing going. Organize now to do different.
Finally, the "stop talking about *these* anti-Semites because we have to fight *those* anti-Semites." That not a thing. If you're marching with anti-Semites because you want to fight anti-Semitism...
