Could someone explain to me what the difference is between a Dem controlled Congress spending the next 2 years investigating Trump and a GOP congress who spent the last 2 years investigating Trump besides the intensity (more vicious and more of them) level and the label?
Really think about this. The Ryan Congress instead of laughing off the Russia hoax spent two years investigating Trump, his campaign workers, his admin, and supporting a SC who did the same. There was basically one person who was 100% on Trump's side and that was Nunes.
So for all the "Muh we are all doomed" crowd out there, there isn't much difference. The DOJ isn't magically going to start giving a Dem House documents. the biggest problem is and will be the power of the purse.
The other difference is that the DC swamp can now just be upfront with their hate for Trump and not worry about the need to do the Ryan two step to fool voters. In fact, with all the losses and retirements of the nevertrumpers it might be better in someways.
