Brexit 1/10 - Okay, to 17m people who voted Leave: this was not your fault. May's deal leaves Britain taking the EU's rules on trade without any say in what the rules are. This is not the "best possible deal". So - what to do?
/10 - How did we get here? Two years of dishonesty and incompetence. May knew the deal would be terrible so delayed, hoping to frog-march us into accepting it. As a result, you're now going to see a political crisis of 1970s proportions...
/10 - You have to accept you were lied to. By liars like Johnson and Davis, who said the EU would split, and we could do a quick trade deal. They sat in the cabinet doing f*** all, then walked away...
/10 I respect the views of 17m Brexit voters. I want to know what you think about trading away half our sovereignty for customs union with no power over the future rules. Let's see... how could I find out what you think of this deal? Wracking my brains...
/10 ...Ah. Yes. A second referendum. I know a lot of Brexit voters hate the idea but this deal is going to fall in Parliament, so you might get one. But in the interim, here's what to do...
/10 Contact your MP. If you don't know who it is, go here and type your postcode. theyworkforyou.com Tell them to vote against the deal. Tell your friends to do it... tonight, not next week...
/10 We, the British people, need to take back control of the Brexit negotiations. How? Defeat the Withdrawal Bill; force May to resign; force a general election. In that election...
/10 If we get a snap election, Labour should promise a clear, Norway-style Brexit, giving us access to the single market and *more* (yes, more) say in what the rules are. And put the result of the talks to a Second Referendum...
/10 We've wasted nearly 3 years because of May's dishonest and weak government; other countries investing in robots, silicon chips, biotech, culture...we've been wallowing in rancid prejudice and delusion...
/10 One politician has consistently tried to heal the divide between Brexit voters and Remainers. That's @jeremycorbyn As PM, Corbyn should put parliament in control of fresh talks and - at the end - a 2nd referendum to either ratify the new deal or remain in the EU. Finally...
/11: Contact your MP, tell them to vote this deal down, here's the link theyworkforyou.com and please share and RT this brief, stark message #thedealisshit #byebyeTheresa
