Got a nice lesson in the difference between conversational & professional language fluency today. Crew showed up for an interview & I realized (belatedly) they wanted to do it in Spanish. I figure sure; done it once or twice before on other topics, & it’s not live.
Takes about 3 minutes to realize it’s not going to fly. Because while my Spanish is pretty good, I learned it at home, and abuelita & I rarely chatted about “security clearances,” “cyberattacks,” or “malware signatures.” Happily, they were fine doing it in English & translating.
So, uh, what are some good Spanish language tech news sites so I don’t sound like an ass next time this comes up?
