I want to take a moment to say that the best Trump-Russia reporting being done across the world is being done by women. I know this because I read hundreds of major-media reports from around the world—and since the 80s—to write my book and women had done nearly all the best work.
2/ In the US, no one beats @NatashaBertrand; in the UK it's @carolecadwalla. In Greece, it's @mkakaounaki. The best reports by the NYT, WP, and even a smaller outfit like The Daily Beast come from women reporters. And I rely on so many women commentators like @RVAwonk and others.
3/ I thank a number of these courageous, insanely talented women in my book, but I specifically want to note @woodruffbets and @SharonLNYT here. Just because I think Trump-Russia reporting has some paradigmatic issues doesn't mean I don't also think great reporting is happening.
4/ And on TV, it should go without saying that @Maddow has beat all comers at daily and in a deeply committed and serious way investigating Trump-Russia collusion (and all its attendant sub-scandals and sub-topics). Her work has been *indispensable* to me and millions of others.
5/ On the podcast front, I just mentioned @MuellerSheWrote in an essay for @guardian and want to again mention the women running that fine program here. I hope people will consider following on Twitter—and other platforms—all these women (and others) whose work I admire so much.
