1/ McCabe knows he’s trapped. He’s long known what we learned yesterday. Strzok was brought in to the SC and investigated. Further confirmation Mueller was needed to protect the Russia investigation from McCabe not Trump. Those who can’t see this are committed to a narrative.
2/ These people say “Oh yeah, then why is Mueller chasing every angle even ones that are definite dead ends?” It’s not a sign of Mueller’s corruption, dummy. It’s a sign that Mueller’s job is to clarify if there was any collusion anywhere. He has to investigate everything. Why?
3/ Mueller is going to write a report and conclude if the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia in any illegal or other ways to influence the outcome of the election. If he says Trump did not collude without turning over every stone his conclusions won’t be accepted.
4/ So you have to ask yourself, why couldn’t McCabe just do that? BECAUSE MCCABE IS CORRUPT AF! Then they say, “SO IS MUELLER!” Well I’ll say maybe. Maybe he is but it was a risk worth taking and choosing him ties into McCabe vs Comey.
5/ What else was gained by firing Comey and appointing Mueller? Well that gets answered inside of the filing from yesterday. What did it tell us? That nearly immediately after his appointment Mueller hires Strzok and then he is provided with the texts and Strzok is investigated.
6/ Meaning DOJ was freed up to start investigating the corrupt actors inside DOJ/FBI free from claims that the Trump Russia investigation was being obstructed. That’s what you’ve seen happen. That’s good. Trump wants that. Will it result in prosecutions? Hopefully.
7/ I can’t imagine anyone more displeased by yesterday’s filings in the Flynn case than McCabe. His fear is why we spent the last three months revisiting the meeting he had with Rosenstein the day before Mueller was appointed. “Why Mueller?” points to McCabe corruption.
8/ Now what preceded the “Rosenstein wanted to wear a wire” stories? “Trump is going to declassify!” stories. Was he about to declassify? Maybe. Or maybe they were intentionally triggering McCabe. If past is prologue then my guess is Rod and Trump bait trapped Andy.
9/ Sorry but some people have this story all wrong. They can’t see the Forrest for the trees. Black hat or white hat? Maybe professionals doing a job. Not on Trump’s side or Clinton’s side but on the side of truth. Trump’s ok with that.
10/ How do I know he’s ok with that? For the same reason people like @Cernovich and @willchamberlain are freaking out. Because Trump could declassify everything, fire everyone and end this right now. He could’ve over the last year. Yet he hasn’t. That’s all you need to know. /end
