5. We don't mean to slander macrophages, white blood cells integral to the immune system. They do important work. But why are they failing to eat more #sarcoma cells? How can we make sarcoma cells tastier for them?

7. It would be amazing if doctors could take a blood sample (i.e., a liquid biopsy) & perhaps use macrophages to predict which patients had cancer, how bad the cancer was, did it recur, etc. (Thanks to @pkuhn1 for his mentoring on this.) more

Btw, I wish I knew more about Dr. Richard & Valerie Aronsohn who donated the $$ to make these grants possible. I can thank @CureSarcoma & the researchers, but I hope the donors know how much we appreciate what they did.
