Let's take a closer look at some recent events. Speaker Pelosi asks POTUS to cancel the SOTU due to security reasons, even though there are none. Gosh, she sure is concerned for his welfare all of a sudden. Hmm... Why??

You can fact check this yourself here. There are no conservative fact checking sources. Factcheck tries to justify/twist this by claiming the previous Republican rep had a similar tab. No. His tab was too high also then. judicialwatch.org/story/2010/jan… …
It took 3 tries to get the above tweet to post the judicial watch web site instead of the Factcheck website! Twitter clearly has an algorithm to choose liberal sources over conservative ones! All I had to do was mention Factcheck and it filled in the website for me!

Some thoughts on Speaker Pelosi’s move to postpone the #SOTU and invite President Trump to deliver a written message.

1/

First, some background: George Washington set the precedent for an annual, in-person address to Congress—neither of which are required by the Constitution. Though continued by Adams, Jefferson switched to a written message, arguing that the spectacle was too monarchical.

2/
For the rest of the 19th century and into the early 20th, the annual message was delivered in writing. As CRS documents in their report, these messages were (unsurprisingly) much longer than in-person addresses. And a quick look at them shows the policy detail they went into.
