Seemingly I can't repeat this often enough.

There are currently no amendments tabled that look likely to give the PM any further cards to play in negotiations with the EU.
Hypothetical example. If Parliament said we support the Withdrawal Agreement if the Customs Union element of the backstop is considerably strengthened - big card to play, it is potentially deliverable whatever the Commission says about not reopening the WA.
The PM is strengthened in Brussels by Parliament passing a realistic and clear amendment on what it wants to see. She is not strengthened by something that is vague or clearly crosses EU red lines.
