/ There’s a reason Trump didn’t immediately ask his AG to appoint a SC that is being overlooked. It explains why Sessions recusal made sense and why we have had to wait over 2 years for action against the corruption at DOJ/FBI.
/ I’ve long argued that obviously Trump knew Sessions would recuse. There was a reason he nominated Rosenstein and not a loyalist. My explanation has been that Trump wanted to have a person credible to the moderates and independents.

/ Yet people were upset at Sessions and Trump for losing control of DOJ and letting the deep state destroy him. I have screamed more than once about the bipolar DOJ. People assumed allowing things to be this way was a sign of Trump’s ignorance of government process. But was it?
/ What did Trump understand that led him to set up his DOJ in a way where people assumed he wasn’t in control? Why would he seek to embolden his deep state enemies? Why would he nominate their “friends”? Well the answer is rolling out in front of you every day now.
/ As a matter of making a case and prosecuting the corrupt actors at DOJ/FBI, dealing with actions against a duly elected POTUS while you control the investigative processes is much more powerful than dealing with the abuses from 2016.
/ Assuming Trump was aware from the moment he was sworn in of an “insurance policy”, which I do now believe, then why would he allow it to play out? Why would he risk himself? Because Trump actually intends to successfully prosecute people like McCabe for abuse of power.
/ When Trump tells you Rosenstein has told him he isn’t a target of the investigation, he’s not lying. Anymore than he was lying when he said Comey told him he wasn’t a target of the investigation. In fact this has likely been the case for a long time.
/ Mueller must’ve known from early on what we are learning from the transcripts. These were politically motivated oppo rumors and FBI knew that from day one. Given the timeline Mueller was also likely explained the extent of the investigation into McCabe before he was appointed.
/ It’s also important to keep in context that Mueller has been provided every witness and document he has requested. Millions of documents. He has all the emails from the transition. He knows Trump didn’t collude. He understands why firing Comey was necessary.
/ Have the last two years been frustrating? Hell yes! But was there a design and a reason Trump did it this way? YES! Who should you have trusted to expose the truth all along? Trump. That’s it. End of the list. But he’s appointed people for a reason.

/ I’ve been telling you that Trump designed all of this since at least the transition. It’s a roll out. It’s timed a very particular way for maximum effect and to ensure his policies are enacted, that he is re-elected and that the swamp is drained.

/ The next step in the process is the confirmation of a badass AG. Someone who is prepared to do the right thing and has no concern for his political future. This is who Barr says he is and I trust Trump’s choice to nominate him.

/ We just witnessed the most extensive corruption investigation in US history! A massive sting trap with multiple triggers. I can say with confidence that at a minimum McCabe is massively fucked! #Phase2 is approaching. Trust the design. Trust Trump.
