Literally the only form of bullying that Republicans can fight is "kids named Trump."

Think if FLOTUS were bringing a gay kid, a trans kid, a black kid, the child of an immigrant, someone sick or disabled, someone with special needs, someone poor.

It would be awkward.

As if all of Don's grandchildren aren't going to change their last names to avoid association. As though Melania herself is going to remain a Trump for life.

As though there have never been leaders before whose last names, and even first names, once popular, became anathema.

Yes, don’t pick on kids. Of course.

But “don’t pick on kids” is in no way the point being made. “Don’t pick on Trumps” is the point being made, very obviously.

Additionally, anyone supporting the GOP, signals quite effectively not just unconcern about bullied kids, but the belief everybody who claims to be bullied should toughen up & stop participating in snowflake "outrage culture."

Additionally, anyone supporting Trump (which includes the entire GOP) signals not only unconcern about children being bullied, but of children coming to every imaginable kind of harm.

This by their own deeds.

Hell, by their votes and policy.

This is an ideology that expends its energy, money, and time deliberately destroying protections and safeguards, then runs to those safeguards the moment they feel the slightest hint of danger.

They call criticism silencing

And opposition oppression

They find equality unfair
