1. Today we focus on Infrastructure development under PMB/PYO & review the past, the present & #NextLevelNigeria
Where we were:
Nigeria had huge infrastructure deficit. Decades of underinvestment & inadequate allocations led to underdevelopment of backbone of a modern economy-
2. In 2014, the GEJ Govt spent these sums on the following sectors: Transport (N14 billion), Agriculture & Water (N34 billion), Power, Works & Housing (N106 billion). Grossly inadequate, a lot of infrastructure projects were left abandoned and contractors unpaid. #NigeriaDecides
3. PMB committed to initiating & completing key infrastructure projects &demonstrated this through budgetary allocations & fund-raising & ensuring the plugging of leakages & cutting out waste, the government has been able to re-direct money into infrastructure & capital projects
4. This is where we are:
4.1 Record allocation and spending of N2.7 Trillion on infrastructure in 2016 & 2017 fiscal years
4.2 Rehabilitation of major roads to improve the transportation of agricultural products across Nigeria. Road project ongoing every state of Nigeria
4.3 $10 Million investment on world-class cancer Treatment Centre at LUTH
4.4 Completed Abuja's Light Rail system to connect the city centre with the airport & link to the Abuja-Kaduna Railway Line
4.5 Commenced upgrade of Nigeria's 3,500km network narrow-gauge railway network
4.6 $10 Million invested to establish modern Diagnostic Centres in Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital & the Federal Medical Centre
4.7 Timely completion of Abuja Airport runway
4.8 Completion of key road projects including the Ilorin/Jebba
Road that was abandoned for over 20 years
4.9 Completed key Water Supply Projects and Dam/Irrigation Projects in the South South, North West, North East regions
4.10 Awarded & completed more than 70 Ecological Fund projects across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria #NigeriaDecides2019
4.11 N100 Billion Sukuk Bond being utilized to fund 25 road projects in all geopolitical zones of the country with each zone getting N16.67 Billion.
4.12 $1.3 Billion seed funding to launch the Presidential Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF) #FactsAboveLies #NigeriaDecides
4.13 Provided access to power in key economic clusters/markets around Nigeria through the Energizing Economies Programme
4.14 50% expansion in grid capacity from 5000 MW to 7,125 MW as at December 2017

5. From all projects on infrastructure we can all see the determination of PMB/PYO to give Nigeria's economy a fighting chance at real growth. Road and rail network mean that the economies of the states will develop & jobs will be created. #NigeriaDecides But PMB still has more..
6. Where the FGN (PMB/PYO) are headed on infrastructure in 2019-2023 is huge and so we will put this on our next thread which is titled Next Level Infrastructure. Remember, only the election of PMB/PYO of the @OfficialAPCNg can deliver the #NextLevel Vote wisely. #NigeriaDecides
