A Democratic President declaring emergency is not a problem in and of itself. The problem is what the fu*k is he/she going to do the day after. Declarations by themselves don't solve anything. You have to do concrete things with limited funds to solve problems. 1/
If any Democratic President actually knew how to solve any of the big national problems with a few billion dollars, who the hell would oppose him/her? Go ahead and do it. 2/
It's a threat only if Democrats are implying that even though they have no clue how to solve any problem, if Trump declares an emergency, a Democratic President will feel a psychological compulsion to do the same just for the heck of it. Is that your threat? Just checking! 3/x
