Last week the govt promised indicative votes. On Wednesday, Theresa May dismissed them. Today they are promising them again.
Nothing they say means anything. MPs must take control.
Imagine you had a friend who acted this way, promising you he'd do something and then the next day acting like the conversation never happened. Would you trust him? Would you fuck.
The same goes for the govt. Any notion that their commitments are reliable went out the window ages ago.

A million people. You can ignore that if you like. You can pretend it didn't happen, or doesn't mean anything, or has no consequence. But when there's that many people hitting the streets, something fundamental is happening.
You don't always know the impact immediately. It can take a while to filter through. It certainly doesn't mean we'll win the fight to Remain. But it shows that a massive constituency in this country are not putting up with this shit anymore.
Brexit or no Brexit, they will remember what is happening right now. And they will punish anyone who helps deliver a disastrous outcome.

Labour tabled an amendment for indicative votes next week. This section is interesting. Has anyone from the party actually been able to explain what the difference is between its alternate plan and 'Common Market 2.0'?
And no, I'm not happy about Common Market 2.0 either.
It's a fucking silly name. You can pretty much dismiss anything titled with that .0 thingy.

Personally I'm feeling relatively chipper. I mean, each week swings between terrible fucking lows of horror and sudden bursts of optimism. But still. Good stuff.

US District Court in Maryland lifted an injunction today that blocked Trump's transgender military ban — Pentagon says that's the "final injunction" and a new policy "will be forthcoming in the near future."

But it's apparently not the final injunction. 1/
Another injunction remains in place in DC, LGBT activists say.

An appeals court vacated the DC injunction in Jan., but it also said on 1/31 it won't mandate lower court actually stay the injunction until after appellate judges issue separate opinions. That hasn't happened yet.
Pentagon and DOJ haven't seemed to acknowledge a DC injunction remains in place. The DOJ said in a court filing on March 1 that the MD case was only one impeding trans military ban.

So here's my last #Brexit thread of the year.

If you saw Theresa May's message today you'll see that all she has is bland platitudes. She's totally disconnected and out of her depth. She doesn't understand Brexit or the sentiment behind it & has no idea what direction to take.
This should come as no surprise. She is attempting to deliver something that cannot possibly satisfy everyone and will deliver little that was promised. She cannot have her Florence deal and at some point she has to come clean. This, though, is entirely the fault of Vote Leave.
Vote Leave hijacked Brexit, telling lies when there was no need. The Tory right have since made it an economic proposition based on a feeble command of the issues making bogus claims which do not stand, drawing red lines that will have to be crossed.
