Given the timing, and the fact that the GOP literally did a 180 at the midterms on healthcare, my belief is Trump is using the ACA as a distraction as well as a way to erode trust in the DOJ at this critical moment.
I also think he does this at his own peril. There’s overwhelming bi-partisan (from people, not politicians) support on the issue of healthcare. If there weren’t, the GOP wouldn’t have pretended to support it for the midterms.
