Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is about to make a statement following her meetings with Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn
Sturgeon: “To be frank, it’s not entirely clear to me where the prime minister is willing to compromise.”
Nicola Sturgeon tells me she “wasn’t convinced” that Corbyn will stick to his policy of a confirmatory referendum after meeting with the Labour leader this afternoon. She later told @BenKentish: “I find it hard to see where Labour will land... I’m not overly optimistic about it.”
Sturgeon said she had “positive, friendly” talks with the PM today but struggled to elicit detail from her. “She just wasn’t very open about the detail... there was more of a shut down.”
