It is not difficult to see how the Dajjalic era will be possible, how a person upon the truth will have to go to extreme measures to prevent his family running off & joining the Dajjalic regime.
Even today, the influence of media & secular Western culture is so all-consuming that so many of the believers have adopted popular narratives that are diametrically opposite to Islam. They consider the haram as trivial & relative, and consider all manner of evils as debatable.
