1. The insanity of Trump/GOP position on Mueller report may require a legal case, @SpeakerPelosi. They have now created a situation where they obstruct the case as it reaches the finish line.

@SpeakerPelosi 2...they now say that evidence necessary for Congress to do its duty to decide if impeachment is necessary cannot be turned over unless a person with no Constitutional authority to make that judgment - the Attorney General of the President being investigated - decides this....
@SpeakerPelosi 3...investigation rises to an impeachable offense. So, a corrupt AG, or one who simply cannot rise above his own conflicts of interest, is independently deciding whether his boss can be impeached - potentially putting the AG's own job at risk. There has to be a choice made here..
@SpeakerPelosi 4...either there has to be a public determination that a president can be indicted - thus leaving that action in the hands of the independent counsel - or all of the information has to be turned over to Congress to determine if the evidence rises to the level of impeachment....
@SpeakerPelosi 5...the entire purpose of appointing an independent counsel is undermined if someone WITHOUT independence is allowed to decide whether Congress gets to know the evidence so as to allow it to make a judgment as to whether impeachment is called for. The only other option is to...
@SpeakerPelosi 6...declare a president can be criminally indicted. There is no other option. "No indictment, but you can't see the evidence - unless the president is a democrat" is not a standard and allows the executive to abrogate the Constitutional authority of Congress.
@SpeakerPelosi NOTE: I am speaking in the abstract. I am NOT calling Barr corrupt or cannot rise above his conflicts. I am saying this standard he is employing sets a precedent which allows the executive branch to stop any potential impeachment in its tracks by keeping evidence from Congress.
