What is Email Marketing and how can it make you money?

I’ll be breaking down the basics of email marketing right now.

THREAD
Traditionally, you would send paid traffic directly to a checkout page.

This was successful a few years ago.

BUT

As many of you are aware, this is now difficult.

Paid traffic is becoming more expensive...
So how do you make profit when the average ecom conversion rate is 2%?

Two ways:

1.) Funnels

2.) Emails

A one click purchase page is simply no longer sufficient in 2019.
I don’t care how shitty you are at selling online.

It’s 100% possible to make $1/email per month (minimum).

In fact, get good and you can make
$4/email per month and higher.

Let’s talk about how:
Your main advantage with email marketing boils down to one word:

TRUST.

Unlike other marketers, you’re not going to be selling to them immediately.

Instead, you’re going to be building rapport first.
The quickest way to build trust is by offering them free stuff.

Check your emails.

I bet you’ve seen a ton offering you a “free video training”

This is why.
Now, let me ask you a question:

Do you think you can sell ONLY 1 person out of 100 on a $100 product?

And can you do this within 30 days?

If so, congrats.

You’re making $1/email per month.
Of course, you probably want to make more than $1/email per month.

ESPECIALLY if you're using paid traffic.

Here's another scenario:

Let's imagine you collect 2,000 emails at $2/ad spend per email.

Now let's imagine you SUCK at selling.

As in, you're the worst salesmen ever.
After a FULL MONTH of value, you try selling a list of 2,000 people on a $4,000 product.

Now let's assume ONE person (1/2,000) buys this.

You've broken even.

That sucks, right?

WRONG!
You now have a FREE list of 2,000 emails.

Even if you SUCK (Like, the worst) at sales copy, you can make $1/month off a list of 2,000 emails...

Which, of course, means $2,000 profit...
IN CONCLUSION:

You need to stop playing the Shopify one-off sales game.

Unless you're @SCHM7DT (and a few others we know), it will be SUPER hard to make that into a longterm strategy by itself.

Think about the longterm.

Think about email marketing!
One more thing:

Once you know your average LTV (lifetime value per email) after a few months, all you need do is spend less than that on ads per email.
