Attorney General William Bar said he thinks the U.S. government spied on President Trump's campaign. He didn't specify what he was referring to and said he wasn't alleging that the surveillance was improper. usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
Speaking of Barr, spying, and whether things were legal:

A recent IG investigation found DOJ under Barr secretly launched a vast and legally questionable phone-data surveillance program in 1992 without first determining whether that would be legal.

Roger Stone's lawyers filed a bunch of - well, let's call them creative - motions late last night. Up first, Stone says the charges that he lied to Congress have to be dismissed because Congress didn't officially complain about his having lied.
The real culprits, Stone's lawyers say, are House Democrats who drew attention to his allegedly false statements in violation of committee rules.
Stone's lawyers argue that he can't be charged with obstructing the Russia investigation because it didn't conclude that Americans conspired with Russia to sway the election. (That's not an element of the statute.)

You may not know this, but the Indianapolis police hang out at the local FedEx shipping hub to seize packages of cash they think are suspicious, and it is highly lucrative.
In this case, Customs and Border Protection ended up seizing a package that was sent from Ohio to Arizona as it passed through Indiana.
