The key to using the GROW model successfully is to first spend quality time clearly identifying what your "G" is. Without a crystal clear "G" the rest of the stages would fall like a pack of cards. #Careers #Mentoring #CareerOpportunities #ElevationNG #HRwithEM
Step 1 of the GROW Model = G

At this stage you need to answer the question: What are your GOALS?

In setting your GOAL, you need to ensure that it's:
1. crystal clear in your mind - when you are woken up from sleep you can easily describe this goal.
2. both inspirational and aspirational.
3. stretching.

Step 2 of the GROW Model - R

In this stage you need to answer the question: What is your current REALITY?

Step 3 of the GROW Model = O

At this stage you need to answer the question: What are your available OPTIONS to achieve the goal?

At this stage you need to answer the question: What WILL I do to actualize the goal(s)?

In summary, to GROW your career, you must:

1. Have a GOAL,
2. Know your current REALITY,
3. Weigh all available OPTIONS, and
4. Have the WILL to action steps required to enable you achieve the goal.
