The NYT's starts the rollback on the Steele Dossier, even admitting that the Mueller report has shown much of it to be false...
But with some spin of course, it is the NYT's got to try & salvage something from the wreckage... #ButNothingsHappening

Huh, apparently it has grown clearer over the past few months that the Steele Dossier was a bunch of fictional allegations. Too bad they didn't bother telling their readers that! They might have been less surprised that there was #NoCollusion

Now that Mueller has disproved the Steele Dossier, they know the lies & how they happened will be exposed in the near future? Are they pivoting to scapegoating Steele?
Seems like the next best alibi! Again, Trump makes them expend their alibis 1 at a time before disproving them.

This indicates that Barr has already received an outline of the misconduct from IG Horowitz. IG Reports typically state that they referred any misconduct to the DOJ for discipline & prosecution decisions. That is the review Barr has started, not a new investigation!

The coup plotters are now claiming that by early 2017 they were figuring out that the Steele allegations were false. This is very likely true, that is when the Trump team & Comey went on the counter attack against the plotters. With Dana Boente allowing Comey to tell Go8 about it

So in January of 2017, the FBI knew that one of Steele's sources had twisted & lied about information that he passed on to Steele. That is a gigantic revelation, did they ever inform the FISA court about that? I suspect those are the 20 pages Nunes want declassified!

Of course, the agents who were trying to get Trump are pretending they think it was all in error. New alibi alert! It was all just mistakenly exaggerating the allegations as they passed it along.

As we see again & again, coming revelations force the plotters to release a new alibi through the NYT's. So that means we will likely soon see that the FBI document on efforts to validate Steele's information that Lisa Page revealed in testimony will contain this information.

Ah, that is so helpful, Mr. Steele won't deny that all of his information is just Russian disinformation. That the Russians were trying to undermine Trump. The NYT's doesn't mention that such an effort would help Hillary. That is another big alibi change! So the ICA got it wrong?

LOL, the NYT's now pretending they didn't publish any of the unverified claims in the Steele Dossier. Wow, that is as dishonest as reporting has ever been. Didn't they win a Pulitzer for printing the unverified claims?

So it was all Trump's opponents who fell for the fake dossier, not the media. This is so dishonest, I have to believe these reporters know their careers are over if the truth comes out. Taking Fusion GPS's word that the core allegations were true...sure.

Yep all false allegations. Wonder why Carter Page was asking his friends who was making that deal to buy Rosneft? Couldn't be as part of an investigation against Clinton's friends who really got that cut of brokerage fees!

Yes, both sides of the Swamp wanted to invent dirt against Trump. It is because they did not want him in charge of the DOJ & their decisions on whether to drain the Swamp or not. Which is why we've seen hundreds of banks busted for money laundering to the Swamp since 2017!

Expect to learn we are going to find corruption in Steele's work on the FIFA case too. He conveniently found no corruption evidence against Brits & Russians. Deflecting the investigation toward other countries. Which earned him a paycheck from Putin's Oligarch Oleg Deripaska.

Trey Gowdy asked Glenn Simpson if his DNC contract included payment terms & conditions for Fusion GPS to trigger an FBI investigation. Simpson denied it, but I suspect we will learn that agreement is what lead Steele to give the FBI his reporting.

So now the NYT's is admitting to FISA abuse at least. The coup plotters were using the Steele Dossier in @carterwpage's FISA application even though they could not verify it. And had already proven much of it false. The IG report will be most interesting

@carterwpage Ah so the agents considered that the Russians were providing fake information to damage Trump, but their bias caused them to dismiss it. That is a big admission, I don't think that alibi will hold up though!

@carterwpage Can't wait to see the McCabe, Strzok & Page texts where they discuss how bad the dossier really is! But choose to use it anyway in a FISA & the Intelligence Community Assessment!

@carterwpage And there we have it! The Mueller Report has forced the NYT's to admit the Steele Dossier was probably written to trick Democrats into believing Trump & his allies were Russian agents. Because admitting that is worse than the the truth!

@carterwpage The Truth? It is looking like the Russians saw the Democrats colluding with the Ukrainians to rig the election for Hillary Clinton by trying to frame Trump for collusion. The Russians fed them BS to help their narrative knowing it would implode later, after Hillary was President!
