Interesting thread on Trump Moscow & Evgeny Dvoskin (Mueller rpt p76) - Felix Sater spoke w/Dvoskin about getting Cohen & Trump passports to arrange visas for Moscow trip

Dvoskin, an exec of sanctioned Genbank, served time in prison in US, was deported to Russia & pursued by FBI
Dvoskin a co-owner of Genbank is a Russian-born financier who grew up in Brighton Beach at the same time as Sater - Dvoskin and sanctioned Genbank were involved with Trump Moscow discussions
In an interview this week Felix Sater downplayed interaction with Genbank related to Trump Tower Moscow and said:

"It was one conversation. It wasn’t even really talking. I don’t think they count as a bank we were seriously talking to."

Footnote 359 in the Mueller report notes "At the time that Sater provided this financing letter to Cohen, Genbank was subject to U.S. government sanctions"

This footnote appears to reference a 'financing letter' related to Genbank.

Docs published by Buzzfeed include image of doc sent by Felix Sater to Michael Cohen, followed by text in which Cohen asks Sater "Who is Gen Bank?" Sater replied saying it's 50% govt owned

Not clear if this is related to doc mentioned in Mueller report

Mueller report page 75 describes info in Buzzfeed messages above 👆🏼

"Sater then sent a draft invitation for Cohen to visit Moscow to discuss the Trump Moscow project"

Footnote 354 describes invitation from Genbank in 12/31/15 Text Messages Sater & Cohen
Sater interview w/@trdny downplayed Genbank as "one conversation. It wasn’t even really talking"

Mueller report references Sater conversation w/Genbank & invitation from Genbank & finance letter (which may be same as invite or different) indicating multiple communications
Genbank exec Evgeny Dvoskin mentioned in Mueller report re: Felix Sater & Trump Tower Moscow had mafie ties - per FBI was in prison w/Vyacheslav Ivankov (Mogilevich assoc) & called him uncle

Ivankov had frequented Trump's casinos & lived in Trump Tower

This 2014 OCCRP report describes how Genbank part owned by Dvoskin became the first Russian bank in Crimea in 2014 after it was annexed by Russia and opened dozens of branches since then
