And this is supposed to be funny? A President @MBuhari making a joke of the daily drenching of the country in the blood of his citizens who are killed daily without ANY consequence while he bears the title “Commander-in-Chief” ? Carry on.
Someday the Citizens will be ready. 💁🏾‍♀️
I frankly decided to never again waste my Voice on a political class that has no redeeming prospect of caring about their citizens.

But I could not hold back @ this callous joke about Insecurity after ten days of @MBuhari leaving his country for some opaque ‘private visit’.
Citizens of every country have the power to determine how their Political Class can treat them.

Until we are collectively ready to end the joke that our Political Class have turned NIGERIA into, they’ll continue.

I won’t even respond to the sad souls spewing rubbish on my TL.
At the end of 2000, when as Director of Harvard-NIGERIA Economic Strategy program, we relocated home and needed hospital services, the National Hospital was adjudged “fairly decent” for our use. Today, it is a monumental mess and death-home for even the few that can afford it.
For those who can’t afford the shambolic National Hospital &similar derelict health institutions, they’re left *begging* for help to treat for all manner of diseases, while their President @MBuhari takes off as often as he wishes for the best medical health care abroad. Callous.
The Health and Education sectors determine the state of any country and people. They are especially important for the poor, weak and vulnerable of a country. Take a look at those two sectors and you can tell what’s going on in a country.

Our bunch of *jokers* could careless.
In 2006, I saw the Disaster that was our Education Sector, we proposed and began to implement root & branch reforms to set things aright. We left. A bunch of jokers of the *Brigade of Venal Political Class* said their vision was, “to reform Ezekwesili’s reforms”. See Education.
They reversed the vision and policies that were starting to return the Ministry, System and Sector to something similar in serious countries. Their sole interest was *Transactions* and not our vision of *Building a Globally Competitive Human Capital for the Nation*. Tragic.
Some days ago, I had reason to attend an event @ a Unity School.

Same schools we designed and were executing a best practice plan to take back to Excellence.

The result of their “reform of Ezekwesili’s Reforms is in the Pictures 👇🏾.

@ChifeDr can you believe this?
To think that 13 years after my time (when the country was alerted to the depth of decay and dysfunction in Education) our Political Class carries on handling the sector as if *all is well* . The word Tragedy does not even to define what has befallen the children of the poor.
I repeat.
My entry into Politics was signal that I’m done expecting that our current political leaders have any redeeming prospect as far as providing Good Governance to Nigerians is concerned.

And should citizens not care about themselves, there’ll never be Good Governance. ✍🏾
