1. The Trump campaign has DRAMATICALLY changed its advertising strategy online in the last week.

Let's review.
2. On May 1, April 30, April 29, April 25, April 17, April 16, I reported on Trump campaign ads that clearly violated Facebook's own rules. The May 1 report also included violations of Google's rules.

3. Trump has not created a new campaign ad on Facebook SINCE MAY 2.

Now that the campaign can't break the rules with impunity it's much less interested.
4. This is the power of ACCOUNTABILITY JOURNALISM. The Trump campaign behaves one way when it operates in secret & another way when people are watching.

Facebook has forced the Trump campaign to take down its most egregious ads. Google has not.

9. UPDATE: In the 20 minutes it took to write this thread, Trump resumed his Facebook ads. Still very safe stuff promoting a dinner in New Orleans, but it's new

2. 8chan is owned by Jim Watkins, a pig farmer in the Philippines. Watkins avoids a lot of the problems other racist sites run into by providing most of 8chan's services, including domain hosting, through his own company, NT Technology.

3. But it's still expensive to run a website. You need to pay for servers, bandwidth, and staff. So Watkins needs an outside source of cash.

Then why won't you or anyone else from @facebook respond to questions about Trump campaign ads that blatantly violate Facebook's own rules?

2. This is now THREE NYT stories on a narrative created out of whole cloth by Giuliani.

Will this prompt any introspection? Doubtful.

It's likely that there will be another NYT story when Giuliani reschedules the trip later
3. The standard that's been established is that anytime Giuliani says something about Biden or Ukraine, true or false, it should be printed on the front page of the NYT

There is a possibility of an announcement today. That’s if the collective U.S. government is unable to push back against #Trump - as it did earlier in the year after his comments in #Ohio.

More than anything, this is an extraordinary insult to the recent efforts of Amb. Jeffrey.

From October 29th through November 6th, I got 27 total emails. That’s exactly 3/per day, WAY above the 0.896/day average throughout all of 2018.

I chose Oct 29th for this thread because that’s when they really started picking up.
“Donald J. Trump” dominated the From field most of Oct. In the week before the midterms, they switched to a big mix of surrogates: Donald Trump Jr. (1st email of 2018), Eric Trump (8th), Melania Trump (5th), Lara Trump (23rd), Newt Gingrich (12th), & Brad Parscale (12th).

1) NEW THREAD directed to the thousands of new #Trump supporters who have followed me over the last week because of events in #Syria. I want to take this opportunity to make you consider things you are not aware of because of the bias mainstream media, which you guys know exist
2) in the US if you consider there reporting of Trump, especially pre-election. Many of you describe Assad as a dictatorship and his government as a regime. If we look towards the Syrian Presidential election in 2014, Assad won 88.7% of the votes with a turnout of 73.42%.
3) This is a significant amount of voter turnout considering the last time the US had a higher percentage per capita was in 1896. This would suggest that as the war has progressed and the jihadist element became more evident, the people recognised Assad as a source of stability
