BREAKING: Activists with @codepink and @answercoalition try to get food and water to their comrades inside the Venezuelan Embassy by attaching it to a rope held by an activist inside.

@DCPoliceDept officers yell “let go” to the guy inside, and then cut the rope.
Video part 2: police force back @codepink / @answercoalition activists after they attempt to rope food up to their friends inside the embassy.
Right now, the group is chanting that they’re the “poor people’s army” and that “water is a human right.”

Officers are standing in a line keeping them away from the building. Their commander audibly instructed them to stay tight lipped and not answer questions.
Things getting heated. People now chanting at cops “this is what domestic terrorism looks like.”

I’m about to go live at Facebook.com/n2sreports
Sitting down with my HD camera now. Here's the HD footage of police cutting the line of the attempted @codepink / @answercoalition / @PopResistance / @PPEHRCorg food delivery into the embassy.

Police snip the rope, push the crowd away.
As @codepink / @answercoalition / @PopResistance / @PPEHRCorg left their prevented food delivery attempt, many tried to photo badge numbers of cops involved.

MPD allowed it, but Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) agents, which fall under @StateDept refused to identify themselves.
Cops separated the @codepink / @answercoalition side from the @askavenezuelan after a couple pushing patches following the food stunt.

Codepinkers chanted "Give them food!"

The pro-Guaidó folks responded that they could eat if they leave the embassy & to "tell that to Maduro!"
Quick note: @DCPoliceDept's bodycameras were on today (bravo!) Journalists, documentarians, lawyers (on any side) or anyone else should be aware that bodycam footage of this whole engagement exists and should be FOIAable.

Looking through my footage from a couple hours ago now, I guess we can consider this proof of life for @RealAlexRubi inside.

After they cut electricity, his tweets have been much less frequent.
Interesting difference of opinion between the two sides on the street as @answercoalition / @codepink fans are in the embassy with food aid cut off.

For their supporters, food deprivation is equivalent to US imperialist tactic.

For @askavenezuelan side, it's how they see Maduro
Here's my raw video story on @codepink's defeated food delivery, and @askavenezuelan's counter-demo.

Tthe mainstream media seems to have ignored/stopped being interested in the Venezuelan Embassy Situation.
