The 2019 elections must have been one of the most rigorous as well as passionately fought elections in the history of India. I totally concur when PM @narendramodi says that it wasn't him but actually the people of India fought these elections. Every aware citizen contributed.
I have many personal anecdotes to share from last 2.5 months which prove that actually normal people took it on themselves to make sure that @narendramodi becomes PM again. They had no institutional support, no ad budgets, no marketing agencies but a passion to bring #NaMoAgain.
Many of my friends across India took several initiatives at their levels. People took half-days and leaves from their work, used to decide a place, congregate there & then campaign, distribute badges, pamphlets & urge people to vote for @narendramodi.
In Delhi, an organic campaign came our of a random whatsapp discussion. Team of @ianuragsaxena, @iashutosh23, @iKapoorSid, @sharmaAvl, @ThePlacardGuy and many more decided to come on ground. For more than 15 days, they campaigned continuously in various parts of Delhi.
It started on 27th April from Connaught Place where they congregated for the first time & urged people to vote for a strong, decisive and patriot govt under @narendramodi
The campaign continued next day in Laxmi Nagar. For almost 5 hours, these youngsters roamed around streets of Laxmi Nagar & Shakarpur urging people to vote for PM @narendramodi. I must mention that most said they had already made up their mind for #NaMoAgain
Next day next campaign - this time it was Karol Bagh. Ajmal Khan Road market & nearby areas were covered on a day which was marked by heavy rains. But even rains couldn't deter their passion & faith in @narendramodi.
Kamla Nagar market in North Delhi was buzzing with slogans of Modi-Modi when this bunch of youngsters decided to campaign there, visiting each & every shop, handing over pamphlets & NaMo masks and urging people to Vote for @narendramodi.
Shahdara's Chhota Bazar market in East Delhi saw an energetic campaign on May 6. It is one of the biggest market of East Delhi. Here too, whosoever they approached, said he was already voting Modi. Guess journos need to go to ground to see the @narendramodi wave! 😊
May 7 - the campaign reached Rajouri Garden, one of the busiest and prominent markets of West Delhi which is always buzzing with people of all age groups.
On May 8, the ground campaign was done in Lajpat Nagar market in New Delhi constituency. #NaMoAgain is indeed the voice of the nation.
May 9 - the second last day of campaign in Delhi saw a rigorous campaign in the Netaji Subhash Place institutional area.
In addition to this, there were several other initiatives & campaigns by youngsters in various parts of Delhi & India. They didn't make huge noise about it, just did their work calmly. They didn't do their branding but rather worked passionately to promote brand @narendramodi.
In the meanwhile, me and @SharmaAvl reached Indore to participate in a great on ground campaign led by my bro @modivanibharat. Team led by Sanyam has done wonders in Indore. We campaigned in the famous Sarrafa market & also attended some public meetings in Indore.
I decided to write all this so that people get to know how this election was fought by the common man to bring back someone who he/she feels is just like him & is selflessly working for India. This spirit will ensure that #AayegaToModiHi
I will do injustice to the cause if I don't mention @GuptaJiUPWale, @MODIfiedRK, @sudhirpandey851, @iamberagarwal and many more who contributed greatly to the campaign. Sudhir & Rajnikant I must mention, were there daily. Bravo guys!
