Chairman Nadler just told @maddow that Mueller is willing to make an open statement to the American people, but that he wants to testify before the Committee in private. Nadler states that he doesn't know why yet, & infers that we'll see the transcripts. #FridayFeeling
2-Chairman Nadler is also telling Rachel that he thinks that the Committee 'probably will' get the OSC prosecutors and other members of Mueller's team in to testify before them.
3-Nadler is saying that he has appealed to Pelosi to move the impeachment hearings along for the sake of obtaining documents, but that now that we've rec'd court rulings in our favor, it's not as necessary-for THAT reason. He called the controversy a 'tight issue'.

Lindsey Graham said today that his advice to "the Pres would be that the country's looking for leadership" & "to try to rise above it & look for solutions re infrastructure etc.." This means that the GOP aren't happy about the temper tantrum. Puts them in an AWFUL position!
2-And it falls completely in line with this piece. With the knowledge that Trump has just put himself before his country. Out loud.

Since Mehta didn't issue a stay in his ruling re the Mazars case, Trump has the right to immed relief in his appeal against Mehta's ruling, so DC Appeals has to rule right away, & if it's against him Congress could have his financials as early as next week. #WednesdayWisdom
2-It's reported that Mnuchin has said that he will comply with a court order to hand Trump's tax returns over to Congress. We don't know which court order, but I'm hearing that this is ALL going to move expeditiously, no matter how high he appeals it. #WednesdayWisdom
3-I'm beginning to think (esp after the meltdown this am) that Trump's ego really WON'T be able to handle the courts forcing his transparency-that he may decide that resigning is a lesser evil than actually turning over his tax returns.
Just a thought..but I can't shake it.
