Prakash Raj got 28900 votes in a constituency of 12 lakh voters.

Kanhaiya Kumar lost by 4 lakh + votes to Giriraj Singh.

Aam Aadmi Party got 1 seat in the entire country.

I hope these trends make you realise that the stuff you read on twitter is far from the reality.
If @BJP4India & @narendramodi ji have been given such a decisive mandate by the people, it could be for a reason that you failed to see! Try & look beyond the stupid things that jokers (who exist across party lines) say & put your ear to the ground. Your opinion may change.
To believe that you’re intelligent is nice! To think that millions of Indians are stupid to be swayed by ‘politics of hatred & communalism’ is a mistake. There is a lot more to the @narendramodi government than what sections of the media would like you to believe. Try & find out!
I live in a tier 2 city & travel to smaller villages & towns very frequently as my work demands it. Meeting people there makes me see the massive difference between the stuff I read here & the thought process of the common man (irrespective of his religion) on the streets.
A massive chunk of the Muslim voters of India have realised that they have only been kept under the fear of a crisis that ‘MAY’ happen if the others comes to power for over 6 decades & exploited as a vote bank. For the first time, development that benefits EVERYONE has been seen!
When roads are built, they are used by everybody across the regious spectrum.

When tourism attractions are created, they give business to people of all castes.

When enterprises flourish, they employ people on the basis of their abilities, not creed.

This is what we need!
Offering a Hajj subsidy is not secularism. It is appeasement.

Offering a subsidy to those who want to visit Mecca, Jerusalem, Mansarovar, Vatican & all other religious places or not offering anything of the sort to any of them is secularism as the dictionary defines it.
Eradicating the plague of communal appeasement will be the biggest step towards building a secular & united India. Uplifting the economically week citizens irrespective of their religion & caste will make us an economic superpower. We need to think beyond ‘minority politics’!
Find me 1 policy of the @narendramodi government that gave undue benefits to believers of one religion over the others. There are dozens of them that were rolled out during the regimes of other governments & they are the biggest reason behind the insecurities that exist among us.
I hope that we, as citizens of India can look beyond ‘our community’, ‘our caste’ & ‘our religion’ to work towards everybody’s growth, development & empowerment. As people, we can do a lot more for ourselves than what any government can! Make yourself capable, not ‘entitled’.
The only true ‘majority’ are the people who are economically backward & we must work with the government towards eradicating this class from the social spectrum by uplifting it’s members into an orbit of self dependent & empowered citizens! Cliche, but YES, WE CAN! Jai Hind!
