Lets see Stefan-

"The ancient philosophers of India ordained a truly admirable law that not one among them shall become a slave but shall enjoy equal right to freedom"
Megasthenes 300 BCE

Unlike Greece & Rome, Bharat wasn't built on the backs of slaves. Keep your 'anti-slavery'
Is free speech white skinned?

-Greece killed Socrates in 399BCE for "not believing in the gods of Athens"

-A Christian mob brutally lynched the woman philosopher Hypatia in 415 CE

A challenge- Can you name a SINGLE philosopher who was killed in ancient India for his views?
The Italian Church state burned Giordano Bruno alive in 1600CE.

His crime?

He was a pantheist who believed the universe was a manifestation of God.

Do you know whats funny @StefanMolyneux ?

That is EXACTLY what the ancient Vedic Aryas believed.
What ALL Hindus believe.
They are only two among thousands of free thinkers killed in Europe over the centuries.

It is YOUR history which is stained with the blood of free thinkers.

You can put Hypatia and Bruno in any era of Vedic/Indian history and NONE of them would have died for ANY of their views.
Did the west give us free markets? Did other cultures not know about free trade before Europe taught them? Acharya Kautilya(~300 BCE), author of the Arthashastra, the ancient manual of statecraft, will gladly enlighten you.

The very first rule is the foundation of free trade!
To say Europe gave the world philosophy is the shameless PINNACLE of bigoted, ill-begotten pride. History of Philosophy does NOT require Europe for its foundation or end. Almost every conceivable idea has been dissected by the Indian mind in 4000 years.
Have a peek at the sheer temporal depth of Vedic philosophy. Meet Yājñavalkya, a non-dualist philosopher of the late Vedic age. CAN YOU NAME a single European philosopher who lived when Yājñavalkya touched the heights of idealism with these words?
Even before Yājñavalkya of Mithila lived Mahidasa Aitareya. Somewhere in the forests, in a humble hermitage, in deep thought, this bronze age Vedic philosopher uttered these words. Kindly name a SINGLE European peer worthy of his company.

Aitareya Aranyaka ll.2.1-5
Rig Veda
Mahidasa & Yājñavalkya belong to the oldest layer of Vedic philosophy. Imagine how diversified Indian thought, logic & epistemology would become in the next 2000 years! Even European renaissance philosophers are UNMISTAKABLY influenced by Vedic & Buddhism.

Freedom of religion

India which produced four major religions, where Zoroastrianism survived after persecution in Iran, where Jews found safe & homely asylum, where Christianity has an independent history without persecution-does not need freedom lessons from white supremacists.
