Here’s the real reason why NeverTrumpers like @RadioFreeTom are angrier by the day: Trump is still the president despite their shouting and twisting over the past few years. Further, every canard they’ve pushed for two decades has been exposed as hollow, or worse, damaging.
There’s no such thing as free trade. Unchecked illegal immigration is a security threat. Endless foreign wars have sapped America’s resources with unclear benefits. And there is no “middle ground” with the Left. People like Tom are reason why ppl in the “heartland” are fed up.
The economy is gangbusters, there’s no sane alternative to Trump on the Left and no legitimate challenger to him in the GOP. Anyone who would primary Trump would run to Trump’s LEFT (Hogan, Kasich, even Romney). @RadioFreeTom knows this and it’s why he uselessly rants on Twitter.
