1/Latest European results has Liberals, Conservatives and Socialists at 58%. They got 63% in 2014.. Far right up fr 21% to 23%. Centrist, pro EU Liberals big winner tonight, followed by the Greens. More here in this thread:
2/Balance in Europe btn pro-EU/far right hasn't changed much, but what has changed is weakening of traditional L/R right parties at expense of rising Liberals, Greens. New landscape, new voices but at this point IMHO too early to read this as a weakening of the European project.
