A tale of two chyrons

Fox -- Trump: Russia would rather have Clinton as president than Trump

MSNBC -- Trump claims "Russia would rather have Hillary Clinton as president"
(Putin said he wanted Trump)
Fox -- President Trump: Russia did not help me get elected

CNN -- Trump says Russia didn't help get him elected after tweeting "I had nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected."
Houston, we have a chyron problem

(and it's not just Fox ... though, they're the worst)
CNN, MSNBC and Fox News all uncritically quote Trump's lies in their chyrons at times

But one key difference is CNN and MSNBC *occasionally* use their chyrons to call out Trump's lies -- Fox never does

On Fox & Friends this morning Diamond and Silk hyped the doctored Pelosi video saying they were "questioning her mental capacity" because "she looks like she's a non-functioning alcoholic, she slurs her words, is rambling over her words." (h/t @tylermonroe7)
A few minutes after Diamond & Silk hyped the fake Pelosi video Steve Doocy mentioned that it's fake

Doocy: During the Diamond & Silk segment they mentioned Pelosi, I was unfamiliar with what they were talking about ... not a real video, it's doctored.
Welp -- Fox Nation hosts and Fox & Friends frequents Diamond and Silk are doubling down on this. Fox will almost certainly do nothing about it.

#Putin's opening to this press conference suggests the takeover of southern #Syria by Asad/Iran is a model of U.S.-Russia cooperation that should be expanded, and flatters Trump that his summit with Kim [which Putin very much liked the look of] resolved the Korean Peninsula.
On #Ukraine, Putin hints broadly that the U.S. agrees with him that Kyiv's intransigence prevented Minsk's implementation, and then carefully lets it be known Trump brought up the election meddling, an assist to Trump politically, before of course dismissing it.
