The police raids going on at the ABC – RIGHT NOW – are part of a super concerning trend. [a thread]
Yesterday, journalist Annika Smethurst was getting ready for work when AFP officers showed up at her house, went through her house, including her underwear drawer (!?), and took her phone.
The appalling irony – it was because of her work on this story, revealing that the nation’s surveillance agency was trying to increase its scope to spy on Australian people without their knowledge.

Today, AFP offices delivered a warrant to the ABC with three journalists named.

This doesn’t just happen.

FOR YEARS politicians have introduced law after law to prevent journalists from reporting on the potential misconduct of government and security agencies.
But when soldiers are accused of unlawfully killing civilians, the public deserves to know.

Taking money in this movement can hurt a person's credibility because people will start to view them as a business. Reaching out can then be viewed as marketing. Shares, likes, hits and views are then looked at as gains.

A person making money off the movement does not turn them into a bad person. Disinformation does. If they are spreading the truth, thats all that matters. There are a lot of Patriots that want to support the work of Patriots they look up too

Natalia Veselnitskaya had been working on the Prevezon case for years, but in 2014 she involved herself drafting of the official response to the DoJ's invocation of a treaty for legal assistance.

She sent the evidence that she worked with the Kremlin to SDNY prosecutors.

Last Thursday, a lawsuit was filed in an Alabama circuit court on behalf of 3 voters (a Republican, a Democrat, & an Independent). They asked the court to order election officials to preserve electronic ballot images from the upcoming #ALSen race.

Alabama uses paper ballots...BUT the paper ballot is not actually what's counted.

Here's how it works: The paper ballot is scanned. A digital image is created. Then, that digital image is used to count your vote.
