To all those saying that the Conservatives just need to “deliver Brexit” and they’ll be ok- you’re missing the point. There is no one Brexit any more. May lost the battle to define it. Now if Brexit does happen, whether no deal or a deal, a % of Tory voters will be incensed.
And they won’t go back. Whichever way the Tories turn they’re in huge trouble. Trouble for which they can largely thank Theresa May and her active participation in allowing no deal to be perceived as not only a legitimate form of Brexit but the legitimate form of Brexit.
In sum if the Tories “deliver Brexit” with a deal they’re probably screwed. If they do it without a deal they’re probably screwed. If they don’t do it they’re probably screwed. Take your pick.
