I'll be as pleased as anyone if more political journalists understand world trade law. What would be even better would be if more politicians understood negotiating realities, namely that the EU is not suddenly going to change their entire approach to Brexit talks

Interesting, a real problem for a new PM being able to change negotiating positions on Ireland, and coming on top of last week's no deal border report, another blow to the Alternate Arrangements work (which isn't expected to produce new thinking anyway)
