My goodness me. A £183.39m potential fine for British Airways. A monster fine which isn't even the highest which could be levied (can go up to 2% of worldwide annual revenue).

Can't help but feeling that this is all building up enforcement against the internet giants. Facebook's annual revenue currently $55bn...
Also, bear in mind that the ICO has a two stage process. This is stage one, where the company has an opportunity to make further representations. Expect BA to robustly respond, and then probably challenge in the courts (given the size of the fine)
