On House floor, @SpeakerPelosi calls @POTUS tweets "disgraceful, disgusting and racist. A @GOP member objects to those comments as being out of order and should be struck from the record.

Voice vote to strike from the record the words of @SpeakerPelosi fails and an electronic 15-minute vote is ordered.
Motion to strike the words of @SpeakerPelosi from the record (H. Res. 489) fails on a 190-232 vote.
Now a recorded vote being taken in the House on whether @SpeakerPelosi should be allowed back on the floor for the remainder of the day.
And the House, by a vote of 231 to 190, allows @SpeakerPelosi to return to the floor.
"Madame Speaker, today is a day that historians will write. It is a sad day for this House," says @GOPLeader on House floor.
"I would ask that all members take it upon themselves to uphold the dignity of this institution," adds @GOPLeader.
"The whole world is watching us. I hope we can rise to the occasion," concludes @GOPLeader.
"The world is watching and the world is shocked," retorts @RepKarenBass in support of the resolution to condemn @POTUS tweets.
And now a @GOP objection to @RepSwalwell using the word "racist" in regard to @POTUS tweets again halts discussion in the House.
And the vote on the resolution to condemn @POTUS remarks about four members of @HouseDemocrats now underway.

Call for impeachment of @realDonaldTrump is immediately brought to the floor by @RepAlGreen.
Article 1 of impeachment resolution by @RepAlGreen is based on the just-approved condemnation by the House of @POTUS remarks.
The @GOP members who voted in favor of the resolution to condemn @POTUS: @SusanWBrooks, @RepBrianFitz, @WillHurd and @RepFredUpton.
Also one former @GOP member who recently became an independent member of the House: @justinamash.
